Every intensive course covers grammar, reading, writing, listening, speaking & vocabulary. The language teacher's well rounded curriculum can be complemented by 1 culture lesson per day (+5 per week). This integral, well-rounded methodology will have you improving your Spanish skills by leaps and bounds every day.
The Enforex approach is intended to be as close as possible to real life situations in the Spanish-speaking world -- it is a communicative approach. Our process is based on learning descriptive elements of the language and using them in specific situations to expand our capacity to communicate with others in a real social context.
Every lesson is independent, but - as is the logical nature of any language - the use of grammar and vocabulary will be cumulative and sequential from class to class. Our professors teach by combining a variety of pedagogical techniques:
Integration of skills
All in-class activities are conceived for pairs or groups in order to encourage authentic communicative expression and social and cultural exchange. Course content also integrates reading & listening exercises that use Latin American varieties of Spanish in order to incite students to think about the diversity of the Spanish language in all its linguistic and cultural elements.
Grammar
Grammar is taught both explicitly and deductively; in other words, the teacher will sometimes, but not always, spell out the rule for students. Students are encouraged to draw their own conclusions through logic and educated guesses using their own past experiences with the language, a method which has proven to better help the student grasp the grammatical concept. The inductive or deductive approach varies according to the complexity of ideas presented.
Self-testing
Our teachers employ activities that allow students to test their own knowledge, as well as motivational activities that encourage the students to work autonomously.
Travel + Learn Spanish is available at all Enforex locations: Alicante, Barcelona, Granada, Madrid, Marbella, Salamanca, Sevilla and Valencia. Partner schools are not included.
