Internship in Madrid

This exciting program will allow you to improve your Spanish skills in a professional environment and learn about daily Spanish life, business and culture first-hand, with the added bonus of serving as an excellent CV-builder.

Your Madrid Internship is the perfect link between Spanish-related studies and entering the professional Spanish-speaking world. There's no better way way to learn professional Spanish skills than in action, and your work experience will be complemented by a Business Spanish or Intensive Spanish course at school.

Below is a sample list of the fields where we have been able to place our students, but please keep in mind that these are just examples, and some internships may not be available in Madrid during your stay. Placement depends on a number of factors (availability in the company, your level of Spanish, your CV, etc.) and we cannot always guarantee a position in the specific company or field of your choice.

Also note that internships are harder to find in July & August, since many companies close or have less pending work. Regardless of the circumstances, we will do everything in our power to find the right internshp in Madrid for you, and are always ready to form partnerships in other areas at your request, so don’t hesitate to ask.

Internship in Madrid Characteristics

Before beginning your Madrid internship and entering the workplace, you will participate in a mandatory 4-week Spanish Language Program (Intensive Spanish or Business Spanish).

Students who wish to participate but do not yet possess the required level may enroll in any of our general Spanish courses for as long as it takes to reach an appropriate workplace level of fluency in spoken and written Spanish.

The standard duration of the internship program in Madrid is 3 months, but many participants choose to extend their stays.

There are 3 main requirements for enrollment:

1. Minimum age 18 years old
2. Minimum high intermediate level of Spanish
3. Medical insurance

Participants are not paid during their internship program. At times, however, participants in our Madrid internship program have, at the full discretion of the company, received a bonus based on their contribution.
