Madrid Culture
Theaters
Between the city's immense opera house, the major theaters flanking the major avenue Gran Vía and smaller venues dispersed throughout the entire city, Madrid is Spain's theater capital. Enjoy operas, plays, musicals, symphonies, dance performances, "zarzuelas" (light Spanish operas) and much more.
Flamenco
As Spain's cultural capital, Madrid is where the very best flamenco singers, dancers and guitarists come to become stars. You can experience this passionate art form in major theaters, intimate "tablaos" and - from time to time - spontaneously in bars. You can even learn how to dance, sing or play flamenco with professionals in the many flamenco schools in Madrid.
If you want to learn how to dance flamenco, Enforex Madrid is happy to step in and help! You can learn all about flamenco and how to dance with our Spanish + Flamenco course at Enforex Madrid. The program includes 8 hours of lessons per week with professional dancers at Madrid's most respected flamenco school, which complement the Spanish language classes you will receive at our school.
Museums
Along with the so-called "Big Three" (the Prado Museum, the Reina Sofía Museum, the Thyssen Museum), Madrid has an unbeatable collection of museums dispersed throughout the city. The city's museums offer something for every person's interests, from aviation to Renaissance paintings, ancient archaeology and much more!
Bullfights
While the art of bullfighting is increasingly controversial, there's no doubt that it remains one of the most "typically Spanish" aspects of Spanish culture, packed with tradition. Madrid's bullring, Las Ventas, is THE place to see a bullfight. It's Spain's most important venue
