- What? Opera. A dramma giacoso in two acts by Vicente Martín i Soler with a libretto by Lorenzo da Ponte. Diana, the goddess of chastity, has a tree in her garden that bears large and beautiful fruit... as long as her nymphs stay chaste. If they sin, the fruit turns black and falls off. However, the god of love is alarmed by such an extreme law and enters the garden disguised as a woman.
