Spanish Literature Course Characteristics
- Minimum high intermediate level of Spanish
- 10 general Spanish language lessons per week
- 10 lessons dedicated to the study of Spanish language literature per week
- Duration: 2 or 4 weeks
- Complemented by extra-curricular activities accompanied by an Enforex instructor in Madrid, including visits to museums and other cultural centers

The Spanish language is extremely rich in literary masterpieces from both sides of the Atlantic. Our Spanish Literature Course is designed to expose you to many of these great works in their original texts. From the 16th century to the the present day, your professor will guide you through the poems, novels and plays of such varied authors as Cervantes, Lorca, Cela, García Márquez, Isabel Allende, Borges and Carlos Fuentes.
The course objective is for you to acquire a global understanding of the Spanish literary cannon. Additionally, we will identify key movements and learn to differentiate the characteristics of important periods such as the Golden Age, the Romantic era, the Generation of 1927, the Contemporary Novel, and much more.
